In 1982 local author Kenneth P. McCutchan published Evansville at the Bend in the River . Today Bill and Tom have updated the popular book to include a new chapter on happenings since 1982 and new photographs. Both Bill and Tom are board member of the Vanderburgh County Historical Society. Mr. Bartelt is Social Studies Department Chair at William Henry Harrison High School in Evansville, IN. Mr. Lonnberg is History Curator at the Evansville Museum of Art History and Science.
